Product Development builds on the legacy of Solid Modelling as the UK’s largest solutions forum for the design engineering community. The newly formatted technical workshops will enable designers and engineers to gain in-depth technical knowledge and expertise in targetedskills and applications.

Designer Workshops
Companies who wish to communicate their ideas at Product Development 2006, may give technical presentations in 20-minute slots within one or several design workshops.

Each presentation slot may be a stand-alone demonstration of a development tool or technique, or may be planned as part of a special programme across the two-day event. Collaborative classes combining several vendors are also welcome.

Managing The Product Development Lifecycle

A special one-day event aimed at managers who wish to improve the efficiency and productivity of their organisation through better automation of the interface between technical departments and other areas of an enterprise or supply network

The primary target audience is nontechnical so the programme will avoid discussing of tools and technologies, focussing instead on the business processes behind them. This event will take place in a stand-alone venue alongside the NEC.
