The name Product Development reflects the converging requirements and aims of product designers, engineers and business managers for diverse target applications.

Wider branding

We will exploit the inheritance of the Solid Modelling Show as an industry forum for CAD, CAM CAE and RP users. However, the technical focus kept wide to take in the complete design cycle from concept to production. The emphasis of the event branding will be equally placed on all classes of design technology, with greater attention paid to the requirements of emerging applications. This broad view of the market should appeal to a greater proportion of the design and engineering communities, plus larger numbers of people who work in parallel sectors where design engineering is not the core activity.
